Or maybe you had someone who you thought you could trust but got it all wrong because of their inexperience.

Because every “rescue job” is as individual as you are we can’t say exactly what we need to do to clean it up, get you up to date or how long it will take. During the initial consultation, when we complete a Financial Health Check, we will explain what the problems are and what needs to happen to transform your data file into a source that provides you with reliable information.

Essentially though, we will do whatever it takes to complete the rescue as quickly and efficiently as possible.

For a more in-depth dive, and to get an idea of a timeframe for repair among other things, we can complete a Financial Diagnostic Review for you. This will detail everything that needs to be done on your file and is provided to you to use as you see fit - be it with us here at BBS or with a separate accountant/bookkeeper of your choice.

What we'll look for:

It can be scary dealing with the ATO when they are chasing you for information. We will take that burden from you, liaise directly with the ATO, and your accountant, while we're cleaning up the file and getting you up to date.

During the process we'll make sure:

You've claimed all the GST credits you're entitled to.
All figures on previously lodged BAS' for the current year are accurate so you don't get any ATO fines.
Payment arrangements are set up with the ATO, if required, to ease your financial burden.
Super has been calculated correctly and we'll also liaise with the super funds if you're behind in payments.
You're maximising all tax deductible expenses.
